The stripping of organic films from the surfaces of metal parts is carried out by means of pyrolysis (thermal decomposition), which is a very progressive, efficient, low-cost and environmentally-friendly method. During the process of pyrolysis, owing to the heat, the paint or other organic coating is transformed into ashes, and thus there are no changes in the mechanical characteristics or dimensions of the treated parts.
This process of removing paint, grease and other organic contamination from steel parts is optimised via PLC control and does not harm the environment. At the same time, the process shows excellent quality results.
The cost of thermal stripping is lower than that of chemical stripping. That is why pyrolysis is the ideal method of eliminating thick layers of paint.
